Age of Myth

Around twenty years before formal written history began, construction began on the Great Library.

First Era

Year Event
Y0 The Great Library is completed and recorded history begins.
Y12 A band of orcish hunters in Kurnhuelde set off on the last Great Hunt of Kurnhuelde.
Y252 Feudalism is officially adopted by the last of the non-feudal rulers in Tulrisse.
Y407 The Serran Empire settles the city of Gabul far to the northwest, the first settlement in what would become the Serran Khazarate of Imardin
Y458 The Ceaseless Drought begins in the region of Serra, causing widespread crop failures and drastic environmental shifts.
Y487 Amidst empire-wide unrest, the current Serran Rakhul is deposed, and the new leader promises change.
Y503 After nearly a century of settling and steady encroachment, Imardin becomes fully controlled by the Serran Empire.
Y554 The Serran Empire begins its conquest of Risse.
Y564 Southern Tulrisse becomes controlled by the Serran Empire, forming the Serran Khazarate of Tulrisse.
Y714 Imardin’s monotheism emerges, and its followers are persecuted by Serran religious authorities.
Y742 Elves from Quellam begin to arrive by boat on the eastern shores of the Kurnhuelde peninsula.
Y743 Era ends.

Second Era

Year Event
Y0 Kresh Garuul erupts in Kurnhuelde, plunging the orcish clans into turmoil and beginning the Kurnish Famine.
Y1 The Serran Empire begins its invasion of Southern Kurnhuelde.
Y2 Increasing numbers of Elves arrive in Kurnhuelde amidst the war. They are shunned and blamed by many clans for their troubles.
Y23 A small band of elvish youths from Groznid Bay seek their fortunes as principled mercenaries.
Y28 The Serran Empire withdraws completely from Kurnhuelde.
Y29 Imardanian monotheism becomes the religion of the majority in Imardin, despite continued persecution.
Y30 The Northern Dwarven Kingdoms seal the mountain passes from the Serran Desert to Imardin, in a show of support for the oppressed Imardanian people.
Y31 With the Serran Empire weakened from its failures in Kurnhuelde, several descendants of the old Tulrissian feudal lords raise armies intent on taking back their ancestral seats from the occupying Serranborn.
Y34 The remaining Serran garrisons in Southern Tulrisse withdraw from the region leaving it free of Serran influences. The descendants of the old nobility reclaim the titles.
Y37 Imardin follows Tulrisse in revolt and kicks out the crippled Serran Empire in less than a year.
Y41 Lord Darden Tarbor I of The Hollow, invades The Grey Plains, capturing several key holdings in the south of the region, in one of the first wars between the Tulrissian Lords. He also begins construction of the first post-Serran stone castle in Tulrisse, which would become known as Darden’s Hold.
Y45 Hadibair is founded in Serranak by the growing independent settlements of Al’mina and Banuk.
Y102 Darden’s Hold is finally completed and is the largest castle in Tulrisse, with other castles being started and finished during its construction.
Y236 The Great Southern War of Tulrisse begins.
Y241 The Great Southern War of Tulrisse ends.
Y275 The Serran Civil War begins.
Y278 The Serran Civil War, and by extension the Era, ends.

Third Era

Year Event
Y0 The Serran Empire completely collapses into 5 separate kingdoms ruled by the Rakhii, most of which accept their situation and make peace with another.
Y1 With the civil war having left most of the former Serran Empire in ruins, Imardin emerges as the new center of knowledge and learning on the continent.
Y52 The Hollowguard, a Tulrissian mercenary company, is completely wiped out by the legendary dragon Larokoth, save for its leader, Ser Jorran Redwald.
Y65 Ser Jorran Redwald starts recruiting for The Hollowguard once more.
Y70 Ser Cyrus Solrane, The White Stag of Garland, is kidnapped by the witch of Garland and kept under her spell.
Y154 Two Tulrissian knights defend the Temple of the Pantheon in Holdfast from an Elysian Peasant Rebellion.
Y165 The island of Mirella is settled by Imardin.
Y169 A strange, magical plague befalls the island empire of Brennis in the Forellian Archipelago, ending its lasting golden age.
Y179 The island of Avién is settled by Imardin.
Y223 Imardin invades the Tulrisse region in force, hoping to take and convert as many of the small independent kingdoms as possible. Era ends.

Fourth Era

Year Event
Y0 The petty kings of the Tulrissian plains successfully repel the Imardanian invasion after being united by Valcus Torinn I of Kingsport, who founds the Kingdom of Tulrisse.
Y1 Twinriver Village and Castle Halstos are collectively renamed Kingsport, in celebration of the Tulrissian Unification.
Y13 The Isle of St. Pierre is settled by Imardin and construction begins on a large monastery of Elys on the island.
Y41 The Kingdom of Tulrisse founds the fort town of Torinnford on an island in The Sundered Sea.
Y86 The Eastern Dwarven Kingdom of Garrund’s mines begin to run dry and Lord Andor sets off on an expedition south to settle a new kingdom in the relatively unexplored southern peaks.
Y88 Lord Andor’s expedition arrives in the valley and settles, sending word back to the Northern Kingdoms for support.
Y93 Large iron deposits are discovered in The Grey Plains of Tulrisse, foretelling industry. The region becomes known as The Iron Plains.
Y118 The Andorian Kingdom is connected to the Dwarven Highway.
Y121 Wolfrun Keep is founded on the North Eastern part of the Andorian Peninsula by Lokhir Aerden. However, the venture receives very little support from the mainland and doesn’t develop into more than a small outpost.
Y123 Garrund’s mines are finally completely emptied.
Y128 Fruitless mineshaft expansion leads to rioting in Garrund.
Y129 Garrund’s monarchy is overthrown and the Eastern Kingdom becomes lawless with small factions fighting for power.
Y134 A group of Ghian peasants and adventurers are hired to escort a Jun's daughter to safety.
Y146 Era ends.

Fifth Era

Year Event
Y0 Imardin discovers gunpowder and the ruling clergy decide to return to military expansion, this time into the Forellian Archipelago.
Y63 Tulrissian settlers settle in the Masaan Valley and become a large farming community, earning a living providing the Dwarves with the food and wood they can’t produce in the caves and mines.
Y81 The large Forellian island of Mai'kawa falls as the first conquest of Imardin in the Archipelago, and is renamed D'armon.
Y84 In Chèronte, a group of locals decide to open up their own private investigation firm, offering their services to anyone in need of their help in the war-torn seat of D'armon.
Y104 Newport is established on Gahlfas Isle by Tulrisse.
Y117 A trade lord in Tulrisse receives a mission from the Tulrissian King to found the Iron Eye Cove settlement in Andor. However, far from the influence of the King, it soon becomes independent.
Y274 King Valcus Torinn VII is assassinated and the Tulrissian Throne passes to his infant son. Many Lords rise up in rebellion and, after a brief civil war, the infant king is deposed and replaced with his cousin, King Jorran Lorkan I.
Y343 In Tulrisse, King Markus Lorkan II dies childless, after his only son drowned two year prior. This sparks a succession crisis in which three different kings are proclaimed by different parties.
Y345 The Tulrissian succession crisis ends with King Ademar Fulsen I, emerging as the new King of Tulrisse.
Y357 Les Astilles becomes the second Forellian Island to be conquered by Imardin.
Y412 King Matthias Fulsen II of Tulrisse creates the first official royal county borders and flags.
Y580 In Teiros, Brennis, the Salucci Family claws its way to fortune with the help of a motely crew of individuals down on their luck.
Y584 The 17th Watch in Arenport, Imardin uncover a startling series of discoveries amidst the city's elites.
Y589 Era ends.

Sixth Era

Year Event
Y0 The mines of Andor are overrun by an unknown force from within the cave system. The dwarves flee the mountains.
Y2 The refugees from Andor found a small town, called Baerin, near the old entrance to Andor.
Y7 A group of cultists from the Great Swamp set out to Imardin and Tulrisse, bringing back totems to successfully perform a grand ritual.
Y79 The Unfettered grows in strength and boldness, seeking to bring down the Kelbis Mines labor prison for good.
Y81 Captain Blackwood and his infamous Dogs begin building a fleet to rival even the Imardanian Navy.
Y82 A mutiny occurs in Murvos. Rumors abound of a masquerade in Ellisport being interrupted by a flaming serpent and a coup. A rebellious group of royals try their hand at organized crime in Talguta.
Y83 The Order of the Cherry Blossom lays siege to Wolfrun Keep. The Seishin Collective assassinates the Jarangi Tenjun in what is known as the Kayaku Plot.
Y84 On an expedition deep within the Isle of Kandoras, the renowned Explorer's Guild of Fort Sakura discovers the surviving descendants of the Kandoran people, once thought lost in the Age of Myth to natural disaster. The Fort Sakura Theater Guild is revived.
Y85 A heavily fortified vault is robbed in Ellisport.
Y86 The dwarven city of Baerin leads an assault on their homeland of Andor. Aided by the Order of the Cherry Blossom and the Iron Eye Regiment, alongside Tulrissian and Dwarven reinforcements from the North, the alliance vows to purge the strange creatures from Andor.
Y87 The First Fleet, headed by Lord Amardovis, sets off to explore the fabled elvish homeland of Quellam.
Y90 The Second Fleet sets off to Quellam.
