The Silver Winds are an unhappy people, ruled by an unfit ruler. Once a proud kingdom with a happy populace, that all changed when Kalim took over. A hereditary monarch, Rakh Kalim Dre’kall only gained power through inheritance and since his father died when he was still young, the power went to his head. Most decisions he has made as ruler only serve to benefit himself or his close family and friends, and the vast majority of his people suffer as a result.

When he was a young man Kalim had a strange dream, and interpreted it as a divine event. He declared that he had ascended to godhood and was the living God-King, destined to reunite Serran as his realm under his divine authority. Since then he has waged constant war against the other Rakhs, intent on claiming their land and people as his own subjects and making his ambitions a reality.
