Sennioux

For centuries, Sennioux – located at the Sennioux Bay – was Imardin’s most eastern settlement. As such, it has always been a heavily militarized zone. It was originally founded as a staging point for the invasion of Les Astilles, and for a long time it was the location of one of the nation’s most important navy ports. However, once Les Astilles was stabilized and fully incorporated into Imardin rule that presence became less necessary, and the navy’s presence began to dwindle. The status as a major military hub officially ended once construction was completed of the fortress at Turnàl, replacing Sennioux as the nation’s easternmost fortress. As a result, Sennioux’s importance greatly decreased and it is now merely a shadow of its former glory. A large portion of its current income comes from patriotic tourists seeking to visit the now-empty fortress, which has been converted into a museum and tourist exhibit.
