This was the first city taken on the island of D’armon, originally named Kawanakana. It was taken shortly after Bladoulles, while the Mai’kawa people were still in shock from the first attack and rallying their forces. Since that time it has risen and fallen in importance, currently being a bit on the low end. There is little reason for anyone to visit Gallou unless they are just stopping by on their way to greater ports, like Abeilles or Chèronte, and Fort Victoire has the naval presence in the region covered. It’s main claim to fame is its local caverns, boasting many intricate cave systems in the nearby mountains. Unfortunately, enough amateur spelunkers die on a regular basis trying to tame the caves that only the truly committed tend to visit, and those are few and far between.
