Once the capital city of the kingdom of Mai’kawa, Chèronte has retained its privileged position by being the seat of the Bishop of D’armon. The city is large and sprawling, with ample fertile land running along the banks of the nearby river. The climate is perfect for grapes, and some of the most successful vineyards call the area around Chèronte their home. This has made D’armon a haven for wine connoisseurs, many of whom have their own vineyards and estates in the area.
