Bladoulles

Bladoulles was once known as Kawanaku, and was originally a part of the independent kingdom of Mai’kawa. It was the first island to fall to Imardin’s navy when they began their warpath in the early 5th era, and served as a staging point for future invasions into the nation’s main island, Kawanakana. It was taken by the brilliant, and now-legendary, admiral Bishop Mauricio D’armon. The city, originally named D’armon in his honor, holds the ruins of a fortress that was constructed to serve as the navy’s headquarters during the invasion. It was later renamed in the later 5th era by a particularly arrogant Bishop Michel Bladoulles, much to the disapproval of the locals, but the abandoned fortress kept the great admiral’s name and serves as the city’s sole lasting tribute to the man. The fort is no longer in use for military purposes, but has instead become a central market area and tourist attraction, its harbor now converted into a merchant harbor instead of a naval one.
