Named for its peculiar shape, Sabre Lake is a body of freshwater just inland of the coast between Wolfrun Keep and Iron Eye Cove. The Lake is almost exclusively uninhabited, except for a mysterious hut on its west edge that is rumored to be guarded by a witch. The Lake is a prime fishing spot for many travelers, and its flat coasts and clean waters allow camping to be possible. Its southern edge has formed a small clay deposit that is known to many craftsmen and miners looking for materials.

In the past, the Lake dried up a few times due to weather changes on the peninsula, but in the last few decades its resting point has been quite static.
