Fort Sakura is the largest and most influential city in the Andorian Peninsula, at least now since the fall of its titular capital city. Originally a series of small fields and farmhouses along the mainland coast, it eventually grew around Adrian d’Arcangeli’s home on the unnamed island that the city is located on. Ever since the dwarves of Andor were driven from their home, Fort Sakura has experienced a surge in trade and wealth, quickly rising in prominence to the position that it holds now as the trade hub of the region.

When the city was first founded, it was purely to serve as a fortress to house the rapidly expanding knighthood, the Order of the Cherry Blossom, that was created to protect trade between the dwarves of Andor and the various surfaces village that sprouted to provide them with food, lumber, and other necessities that cannot be grown underground. The stone walls were in fact designed and built by master masons from Andor, generously provided as thanks for past services and payment for future services of the knights.

Grand Cross – leader, only one (Insignia: Full Blossom trimmed in gold)

Commander – Military commander, only exists during wartime (Insignia: Full Blossom)

Captain – The highest peace-time rank, these knights oversee large numbers of their lower-ranked brethren. There is one Captain presiding over each district of Fort Sakura, as well as Elric Vergos presiding over the fields outside the city. This is almost purely an administrative rank, though the Captain in charge of Fort Sakura’s military district is also tasked with training recruits and serving as Commander during wars.(Insignia: 4 petals)

Sergeant – A petty officer, these members of the order tend to hold either administrative positions or investigative ones. (Insignia: 3 petals)

Knight Errant – Knights who have proven to be particularly skilled, and who loyally. uphold the values of the order. Knights Errant tend to perform most of the same tasks as simple Knights, but are allowed to do so with more discretion. Knights Errant can often be found hunting the more violent criminals on their own, or in small bands. (Insignia: 2 petals)

Knight – the lowest rank, and is generally at the command of the higher ranking knights. Performs basic tasks such as guard duty and trade protection, among other things.(Insignia: 1 petal)
